Haunted

An illustration for my original series, The Apparition, which you can get a taste of here.

(The version that is posted on devart is the "Fanfiction Version," which I post to get a sense of how my audience will respond to the story line, without risking someone stealing my original work. There are several changes [both minute and fundamental] between versions, so even if someone attempts to steal the fanfiction version, they won't come close to the original manuscript.)

Ashe is the main character of the story (replaced by Yuugi Mutou in the fanfiction version), and ages throughout the novel. This picture is set in his late teen years, around 16-17.

I hope to make prints to sell (so there's a big fat watermark all over the devart copy... sorry!) and maybe use it as the cover for the novel whenever it's done.

Did you know?

Ashe has no love interest for the entirety of the novel. His life revolves around the apparition, so he believes it would be unfair to any kind of romantic interest to thrust them into the kind of horrors he deals with daily.
